I recently watched several presentations of an online week-long seminar from earlier this year that was pulled together by the authors of a self-help style book that I thought was pretty good. I mistakenly assumed that the guest presenters would be similar (not cloned) in their approaches to helping people lead more stress-free lives. Well, that was not the case and it took me off guard. I had not heard of any of the other presenters and realized that for a moment I felt as if I'd been a victim of "bait and switch," even though that was not the intention of the hosts. It was after realizing just how many movements, new age offerings and self-styled gurus and their teachings are available to people 24/7 that I was taken aback. It is almost as if they multiply and divide and become popular overnight.
The schedule included the following individuals: 1) a man who is a "Spoken Word Artist," (which has nothing to do with the Science of the Spoken Word as taught by Elizabeth Clare Prophet); 2) a "vocal trance artist; and 3) a singer/yoga/meditation guide (among other things) who has developed her own practices and techniques, including teaching people how to "hold space" for others.
It all reminded me of how important music and sound are to the evolution of a soul, and how easy it is for souls to become entrapped by the latest offerings of the New Age market and music industries. Consider, for example, the difference between "Bollywood Bhajans" and those produced by an embodied Guru and Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood. Not everyone would be able to tell the difference, but, many people, at a soul level, would be able to discern the differences in vibration and consciousness of those leading the vocals.* And, whoever leads the vocals is the one you and your chakras are in a figure-eight flow with and if you have more light in your chakras than they do...guess who can knowingly or unknowingly pull it right out of you before you even notice what's happening?
And, now, consider the beautiful "Maha" mantra produced and presented by Elizabeth Clare Prophet above, with vocalists and musicians under her direction, which I wish I could share with all the other people who paid for the recorded seminar!
