      PAST LIVES


     Imagine, for a minute, that you were a peaceful, law-abiding Tibetan monk in the last part of the 20th century. One day you were rounded up like a criminal, tortured, forced to witness or participate in unthinkable things involving your fellow monks and nuns and then “found guilty” of a trumped up charge and thrown into prison for life, never seeing family or friends or anyone from the outside world again. With beatings and a few grains of rice and filthy water as your “daily bread,” the years went painfully by until, one day, your broken body wore out and you passed from the screen of life, hardly noticed.

      Or, imagine that in a past life, you were with Jesus in his last days and became one of his devoted followers after his death and resurrection. You were so devoted, that you were persecuted and killed with innumerable other devotees.

     These are just two examples of horrific yet commonly endured hardships and deaths that have traumatized thousands of souls over the last 2,000 years. Memories of such experiences would scar a soul for centuries. Without the understanding of reincarnation we cannot really understand our soul's path of evolution and our reason for being....

Teachings on Abortion: The Holy Spirit and You

 

Today Zarathustra is an ascended master whose consciousness bears as an auric emanation of fire that is an all-consuming love, a piercing light that goes to the core of whatever is unreal.

     While flipping through The Path to Immortality, one of the books in the Climb the Highest Mountain Series, by Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet, I came upon what I believe is a teaching on the soul that is critical to understanding abortion and which "goes to the core of whatever is unreal" like the piercing light from the consciousness of Zarathustra, whose image, by Nicholas Roerich, is portrayed on the cover. While there are many people on a spiritual path who are aware of the spiritual consequences of abortion, too many of them hesitate to share what they know because they may not know how to or because they want to maintain a level of popularity or political correctness and not offend anyone with the Truth. 

     As noted in an earlier post, Nicholas Roerich's wife, Helena Roerich, was not concerned about popularity or political correctness, and gave very specific teachings on abortion and its impact on the soul and its evolution, which greatly influenced the teachings of Elizabeth Clare Prophet, whose eloquent explanation is found in Chapter 2 Planes of Consciousness:

     "From the moment of conception, the child's soul is an active participant in forming the body she is to inhabit to fulfill her mission in life.  Throughout the entire nine months of gestation, the soul may go back and forth from her body in the womb to higher places of existence in the heaven world.  Each time the soul enters her body, she anchors more of her soul substance in that body.  As gestation progresses, the spirit, or the essence, of the soul becomes a part of the blood and the cells--a part of the brain, the heart and all the organs.

     At the moment of birth (the timing of which is integral to the soul's mission), under the direction of the Hierarchy of the twelve o'clock line, the soul comes down the spiritual birth canal, which is like a large funnel, and the threefold flame is anchored in the heart chalice.  Prior to birth the heart and necessary functions of the fetus are sustained by the threefold flame of the mother through the placenta and the umbilical cord, which bear a striking resemblance to the Causal Body and the crystal cord.

     The soul is fully integrated with the body at the moment of birth, and a curtain of forgetfulness is drawn over the memory body of the soul at that time.  The soul no longer has full memory of her preexistence in the heaven-world or in past lives."

      This teaching on the soul that is integral to understanding the consequences of abortion is not only for long-time students of the ascended masters, it is for everyone and anyone God so wills to be illumined.  Do not let the fact that it is seemingly buried in a book you may not have read or even heard about stop you, because all you need to do is study it and get your ego and ego-worries out of the way and trust that if someone in your life--or someone who may cross your path--is in need of such information, it is the Holy Spirit that will act, through you, because you were prepared.
