Are you stuck in
what seems to be an unending cycle of personal misery that your family and
friends just don’t seem to understand? Does your boss/spouse/friend/parent have
a Narcissistic personality style that ruins your day/life? Are your health and well-being at an all time
low or your emotions stuck in a continuous downward spin? Consider asking the Ascended Master Kuthumi
for help.
In 1985, Kuthumi
received a dispensation from Lord Maitreya (1) to basically help us get out of our
ruts so that we can become more whole and get on with our lives without
more setbacks.
In 1991, Kuthumi defined
“circumstance” and explained how, if we do not like the circumstances in which
we find ourselves, we can take action and appeal to him for help (2):
“Circumstance is
but a grid of consciousness consisting of your karma and your psychology. If
you change these, you will change your circumstance. I will show you how but it
is not lawful for me to provide the energy. By giving the mantra, you give me
the energy.”
Which mantra? The I AM Light decree given as a
mantra, “nine or thirty-three times for nine or thirty-three days.” The Master also recommended that we “study
the books on psychology recommended by the Messenger and know that the violet flame will heal and transmute. The Healing Thoughtform and the Emerald Matrix
will seal [the pattern of perfection], will bring about change [for the better,
will heal and restore to wholeness].”
At the time, one
of the recommended books was M. Scott Peck’s The
People of the Lie: The Hope For Healing Human Evil, along with a lot of
books on “inner bonding” and “inner child” work.
One more recent book would also, I believe, be most helpful for almost anyone who has had to deal
with—or is dealing with—someone with Narcissistic personality traits or a
Narcissistic personality style: It’s Not You:
Identifying and Healing from Narcissistic People, by Ramani Durvasula,
PhD. I am mentioning this because in
the past several years, I have heard way too many people talk about how their
lives or careers were upended or even ruined by a Narcissistic boss, spouse, parent,
church leader or community member (think HOA meetings), that when I came across
this book, I decided it needed to be shared pronto.
While I don’t
necessarily agree with everything Dr. Ramani suggests (she’s not a personal fan
of forgiving all Narcissists, while I personally, wouldn’t want to be
karmically tied to them by
non-forgiveness, and therefore recommend Violet Flame mantras for everyone’s
sake), it’s an incredibly illumining book, and I recommend it to those who have
suffered Narcissistic abuse at the hands of anyone, dead or alive, in this or
previous lifetimes! Seriously.
(And, of course, I also highly recommend working with a qualified professional therapist or counselor, depending upon your circumstance.)
