Abortion 2021: Don't Depend upon Church and Clergy to Enlighten You--Be Pro-Active and Work with Angels!

It’s now 2021, over 48 years since abortion became legal in the United States, which has resulted in 62,502,904 abortions—an incomprehensible number of souls denied their opportunity for life. Here is the post from 2/4/2020 that is still relevant today:

I just read an article about a Christian minister who expressed his regret about not speaking out against abortion earlier in his ministry and another article about a Catholic priest in Rhode Island who quite publicly announced that he would not serve Holy Communion to politicians who supported a bill that allows abortion up to birth.

So, kudos to those religious leaders who act on their beliefs and don’t shy away from their responsibility to “feed their sheep” and illumine their members re: the pro-life teachings of their churches.  You have to wonder, as a Catholic pro-life activist friend of mine did recently, “Where the heck are the rest of them and why do we only hear about abortion from the pulpit on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade?”  She was, of course, referring to her suburban parish, which has but one of three priests willing to preach on abortion.  And, she said, that the priest “gets clobbered” by the pro-choice Catholics in the parish, many of whom are “big donors,” whenever he speaks about the sanctity of life.

“What’s wrong with the rest of them?  Why the heck don’t they step up to the plate? Money? Politics? What?”  Good questions, and I agreed with her, yet had no answers other than reminding her that there were a lot of pro-life people in the country who were actively involved in getting the pro-life message out.

She was distressed and overwhelmed that abortions in America had hit such a horrifying number and that infanticide has now become legal in 19 states and that 29 states permit abortions of healthy, full-term babies.  I understand—the numbers are overwhelming and the movement towards the legalization of infanticide throughout the United States is horrifying—mind numbing.  But, there is always something that can be done to defend life—even if you can’t get out and join annual marches or groups of people holding prayer vigils on the sidewalks near abortion clinics.

In October, 1996, the Ascended Master El Morya gave one of his last dictations through the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet, and he encouraged us to not get overwhelmed by the inordinate number of serious problems in the world, including abortion, and gave us a most practical answer—make fiats and call to angels for assistance:
“Blessed ones, serious issues are at hand. Children of the light who must come into embodiment are being aborted and aborted at term.
...these are the crises of the times. You must not be engulfed by them or overwhelmed by them. You must make the call in fervor with a deep determination. You must feel the fire of your being going back to the heart of your I AM Presence. And you must know with conviction that the fiat you make in each of these issues will work and what you have called for will come to pass.
...Beloved, it is the single fiat with the power of one's entire fiery being that you have culled through the ages that can neutralize and turn around these negative situations. Do not be overwhelmed. Your mighty I AM Presence is able. Your Holy Christ Self is able. Speak the word, speak it succinctly, and Mercurian messengers take that word and the momentum behind it to turn around situations that seem hopeless.”
What would an example of a fiat for the protection of life in the womb be?  “In the name of Almighty God, I command legions of angels of the Seven Archangels and Archangel Michael’s bands to guard and protect all life aborning in the womb and send comfort and illumination to those who are considering abortion. According to God’s Will, Amen!”
What else can you do if you belong to a church that fails to supply you with practical, easily accessible educational tools regarding abortion and whose ministers rarely, if ever, step up to the plate and preach about the sanctity of life and educate members about church teachings on abortion?  You can communicate your concerns to the leadership and pray they don’t fall on deaf ears, get placed in the “emotional letters” bin or labeled politically incorrect and out of sync with the times.

You can also take action to educate yourself through many of the pro-life organizations whose websites offer downloadable materials including SoulChoice.org, which offers downloadable posters, flyers and eBooks in English and Spanish and brochures in English, French, Hindi, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
