One of the most profound teachings on healing with the violet flame I've ever heard is found in the middle of the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet's 1991 lecture, The Phoenix Mystery: Karma and Reincarnation, at 58:19.
Mrs. Prophet teaches that the violet flame, a "physical" flame, "can combine with any particle of matter, therefore it is the antidote for physical problems," and discusses the significance of the Etheric Double (not the etheric body) and the saturation of it in order to "catch the causes of disease" before they hit the physical.
The explanation of the healing action of the violet flame on the etheric double and physical body is enhanced with incredibly specific visualizations and the Messenger's invocation for healing followed by a few violet flame decrees and a teaching re: when you "meditate upon the etheric double and call to your Holy Christ Self and I Am Presence, you can receive intimations of what burdens you may be carrying and what those conditions which may come upon you might be," followed by the directions for such a meditation before you go to sleep.
The entire lecture is invaluable to anyone seeking healing and a greater understanding of the significance of fire--metaphysically and physically.
