Your Soul's God Identity
If a picture is worth a thousand words, what might be said about the worth of a glyph of Light that would open the eyes of the soul for millions...a single glyph so accurate, that it would recall the soul-the soul that is a million light-years away from her God-Reality-back to the point of the seat-of-the-soul chakra and to the desiring of resolution, to the worship of her God, to the invocation of the I AM THAT I AM?*
Perhaps that it is invaluable.
That glyph of Light, shown in the video, is called The Chart of Your Divine Self--the I AM Presence. It is one of the most interesting charts I've ever seen.
One of the best (and shortest) explanations of the Chart that I've heard is that given by Elizabeth Clare Prophet (1 min. 50 sec. Youtube).
And, here's one of the best explanations I've read about why the Chart is so significant:
*That wallet-sized card on which the Chart is stamped and which has the description on the back does reawaken souls to their original identity, to the God who is with them and in them. It is the most important single glyph of Light, a photograph of the [soul's] inner being; and its accuracy is such that it does recall the soul–the soul that is a million light-years away from her God-Reality–back to the point of the seat-of-the-soul chakra and to the desiring of resolution, to the worship of her God, to the invocation of the I AM THAT I AM.
There is no greater gift that you can give to anyone than the understanding of his own Mighty I AM Presence, his Holy Christ Self and his evolving soul, as depicted in the lower figure in the Chart surrounded by the violet flame.

The Afterlife: A Story Shared
"Your decisions day by day can and will impact not only where you go when you leave your body during sleep at night but where you will find yourself in the afterlife. I encourage you to be aware of what you are doing during your journey through life and of the nature of cause and effect."
~Elizabeth Clare Prophet, The Afterlife: What Really Happens in the Hereafter.
A Story That Was Shared
"I was minding my own business, saying prayers for those who have passed on in the Ukraine and around the world, when I felt the presence of an acquaintance from long ago, who seemed to be intent on impressing upon me a message that needed to be shared with certain people they had known while alive. I have never been interested in such communications nor sought them out and ignored them for a while, praying that the soul would disappear.
But, they were persistent, so I took mental note of the impression, implied that I'd consider it and prayed again for them to move on. I was left with one thought: Regret. And, one image: the Blessed Mother. The next morning, I began reading Mary's Message of Divine Love, and realized that I had come upon the very message that they had been trying so hard to impress upon me. It was a bit uncanny.
Even though I knew in my heart it was the correct information, I decided to put it off for yet another day. Then, later, while in the middle of a rosary, I again felt the presence of the soul who had passed and saw them sit down as if in a sturdy, old-fashioned, wooden teacher's chair, and wait. It was not as if they were stuck in the astral plane, like some poor souls you read about, but that they were simply not going to budge. I realized then, that for whatever reasons, they were deeply intent on a task being done and that, being out of embodiment, they were unable to accomplish it and depended upon someone in embodiment to do it for them, so that they could, by God's grace, move on at a later date."
So, what was the passage that was shared at the end of the story? It was this:
"When those who are supposedly engaged in the business of serving the spiritual needs of man (whether in the East or in the West) do not uphold the principles of truth and honor, when they manifest a spirit of criticism toward individuals or segments of society, and their own lives afford meager example of Christly virtue, those who look to them to set the example for the age are often keenly disappointed.
Most spiritual seekers have at some time in their lives manifested great idealism. This idealism causes them to yearn to bring into their lives elements of spirituality that will draw them very near to God and to their fellowmen. When they see those who claim to espouse the divine cause, those who profess to be teachers of righteousness (ministers, priests, learned pundits or church officials) engaging in practices that are unkind, unholy, unethical or that compromise in any way the true teachings of the Christ, these idealists are sometimes driven, almost in a spirit of despair, to discontinue their own search for God or to reject the reality of God in themselves and in others.
The damage that is done by these would-be leaders, who go forth in my Son's name but carry not his Spirit, is incalculable...." (Mary's Message of Divine Love)

Ascended Masters on The Miraculous Medal

"Times are evil...in the world."
Another 2012 prediction? No--a statement made by the Blessed Mother who appeared to a young nun in France, in 1830 Sister Catherine Laboure:
Saint Catherine Labouré stated that on the night of July 18, 1830, she awoke upon hearing a voice of a child calling her to the sisters' chapel (located in the Rue du Bac, Paris), where she heard the Blessed Virgin Mary say to her, "God wishes to charge you with a mission. You will be contradicted, but do not fear; you will have the grace to do what is necessary. Tell your spiritual director all that passes within you. Times are evil in France and in the world."
On November 27, 1830, Catherine reported that the Blessed Mother returned during evening meditations. She displayed herself inside an oval frame, standing upon a globe, wearing many rings of different colors, most of which shone rays of light over the globe. Around the margin of the frame appeared the words Ô Marie, conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous (in English, O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee). As Catherine watched, the frame seemed to rotate, showing a circle of twelve stars, a large letter M surmounted by a cross, and the stylized Sacred Heart of Jesus crowned with thorns and Immaculate Heart of Mary pierced with a sword. Asked why some of her rings did not shed light, Mary reportedly replied, "Those are the graces for which people forget to ask." Catherine then heard Mary ask her to take these images to her father confessor, telling him that they should be put on medallions, and saying "All who wear them will receive great graces."
Catherine did so, and after two years' of investigation and observation of Catherine's normal daily behavior, the priest took the information to his archbishop without revealing Catherine's identity. The request was approved and medallions began to be produced. [2] Those who wore the medal felt that they had received great blessings, and the medal came to be referred to as the "Miraculous Medal". They proved to be popular, and the medals spread worldwide. Wikipedia.
Catholics are not the only ones who believe in the intercession of Mary. In The Age of the Divine Mother, by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, we read an excerpt from a message from the Blessed Mother:
The Miraculous Medal
Many of you are aware of the power of the focuses of light that manifest in form in various ways as jewels of light. You will recall that in the last century, in the year 1830, I appeared to one to describe the Miraculous Medal. And in my appearance, I showed the jewels that I wear on each of my fingers, focusing the virtues of God that are to be in manifestation in man. And I gave to that sweet soul who communed with me the direction for having the Miraculous Medal made. As so it has been made, and it has been worn for over a century by those who believe in the power of the Mother flame.
...in giving the revelation for the Miraculous Medal, we [of the heavenly hosts] have a means of focusing our image, our matrix, over the very hearts of the faithful ones. For you see, it is only the faithful who would deign to wear a medal of the Virgin Mother or of Christ Jesus or the star of David or the image of the Buddha. And thus we seal each medal in the flame and in the fire of the perfect concept of the divine religion, the divine science and the protection of the soul for her incarnation. (Pages 201-202)

Teaching on the Portrait of El Morya
In doing an end of the year purge of old emails, I came upon a lovely message from a friend from years ago, wherein they shared a teaching which has most likely been long forgotten by many--or never heard in the first place, depending upon one's age.
As El Morya was embodied as Saint Thomas Becket, who was known for his love of "the honor of God," it is with gratitude for the honor of God and the honor of El Morya that I share these words that were shared with me and many others. The portrait of El Morya referred to is the portrait above and the one to which the Messenger refers in the Darshan DVDs:

Words of Comfort for the Elderly, the Sick and the Dying + Practical Resources: Symptoms of Grief in the Dying and the Bereaved
I have lost track of the number of people I know who are dealing with sudden illnesses and loss of family, friends and loved ones, or who are taking care of elderly parents these days. Regardless of their spiritual beliefs, a common thread that ties everyone together is what to say when their loved ones express their fears or concerns about what happens after they pass--and, even what to say to themselves during such stressful times.
Many, of course, have great faith and no doubt in their hearts that they will be going to heaven to be with Jesus and/or their family members who have gone before them; or to a place of peace and rest.
But, not everyone is so sure. Even folks who have studied the teachings of the Ascended Masters for years might have moments of panic, fear or doubt:
~What if they don't ascend?
~What if they don't see the angels when they come?
~What about the spouse and loved ones they leave behind?
~What if they have to reincarnate?
These are all legitimate questions and deserve comforting, truthful answers. Wondering exactly what a minister would recommend in such situations, I contacted a friend of mine who is a minister and counselor with years of experience. Here are some of the highlights of what she shared with me:
You can tell a person that "He/she is in God's hands and that God has everything mapped out for them and their spouse. God has it all planned out. And, if they're familiar with the Hail Mary*, it is also a comforting prayer."
Simple and comforting words---yet, something that might not come to your mind when you are in the middle of such a situation. It takes the guesswork out of it for the family member/caretaker and puts the person right back where they came from--the heart and hands of the Lord.
With that inspired advise in mind, below are several affirmations that might be helpful to print on a regular 3x5 blank index card and offer--or have available--for family members, friends, or even yourself in times of need. Just reading through the cards several times a day may be most comforting, and strengthen the one-on-one connection of the heart and soul of those in need with the heart and Spirit of the Creator:
- I AM in God's hands.
- ____ and I are in God's hands.
- I AM grateful!
- God has everything mapped out for me.
- God has everything mapped out for ____ and me.
- The Will of God is good.
Many thanks to my minister friend for her advice!
*Traditional Hail Mary or:
Hail, Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sons and daughters of God, now and at the hour of our victory over sin, disease and death. (How to Work with Angels, page 77).

"Climb the Highest Mountain" a Chapter at a Time...

What would I recommend that people read and become familiar with, in this, the very beginning of the Aquarian Age?
Well, I'd recommend the Climb the Highest Mountain series also known as the Everlasting Gospel. These foundational spiritual teachings for the Aquarian Age began with the writings of Mark L. Prophet and continued with Elizabeth Clare Prophet and are found in 10 volumes, which include that extremely interesting book, The Masters and Their Retreats. That's it. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Now, granted, it would definitely take more than "a month of Sundays" to peruse and digest the teachings in just one of the books--more like a year of Sundays. But, what a great way that would be to start your week, for say, the next 10 years or so!
Here's a list of the available books included in the series:
1. The Path of the Higher Self
2. The Path of Self Transformation
3. The Masters and the Spiritual Path
4. The Path of Brotherhood
5. The Path of the Universal Christ
6. Paths of Light and Darkness
7. The Path to Immortality
8. The Path of Christ or Antichrist
9. The Path to Attainment
10. The Masters and Their Retreats
How much value did Mark Prophet place on these specific teachings? In his own words:
"The concepts are advanced and progressive. They will give you a new lease on life. You’ll want that book by your bedside to read morning, noon and night as long as you live, and I’m not exaggerating.”
So, how would one go about studying these teachings of the Ascended Masters for the New Millennium? Well, I'd recommend just a chapter at a time!

Elizabeth Clare Prophet: Words of Compassion to Those Who Have Aborted
I recently had the opportunity to listen (via Internet connection) to a live presentation by Carol Everett, former abortion provider and founder of the Heidi Group in Texas, which has helped women with unintended pregnancies since 1995.
According to two friends of mine, you could have heard a pin drop when she was sharing her story.
You'll understand why, if you take a minute to listen to her speak or when you read this excellent introduction to Everett from Holly Hansen's Blog, Smart Girl Politics,Who Really Cares About Women?:
In the 1970's and 80's, Everett worked as a director of abortion clinics in the Dallas area and eventually opened her own clinics. As she describes in her book Blood Money: Getting Rich Off A Woman's Right to Choose, Everett made $150,000 a year selling abortions and was on target to make $260,000 in 1983. She also describes her sales methods in the book, including 'family planning' services; prescribing low-dose birth control pills that were sure to fail, thus promising more abortion income for the clinic. As for 'caring for women,' Everett's harrowing description of fatally botched abortions reveals the callousness of an industry devoted to profit.
At the end of her presentation, there was a panel discussion where people could ask her questions--she did a great and honest job answering them and encouraging people to contact their local pro-life groups to see how they might begin to take action in their own communities.
My friends told me that what could not go unnoticed, were the women in the audience who had tears running down their faces--some even sobbing into the arms of their friends and partners. Somehow, Carol's sharing of her own abortion experience and subsequent work as an abortion provider (with all the gruesome details) had deeply touched quite a few women and men in the audience.
What those women and men in the audience needed to know was that, along with teachings about the healing and transmutative power of the violet flame, Elizabeth Clare Prophet has had much to say to those who have been involved with abortion--offering some of the most compassionate teachings I've ever heard:
In Wanting to be Born, The Cry of the Soul, There Is Forgiveness After Abortion, (page 78-80), we read:
Many people deeply regret their choices regarding abortion. God in his infinite mercy forgives and in his justice provides ways to atone. God does not condemn us for our ignorance or our lack of understanding, for, truly, if we knew better, we would do better.
There is mercy and forgiveness and healing after abortion. If you have aborted a child, do not condemn yourself or abide in a sense of unworthiness. This will do nothing for the child, for you or for God. Instead, look for ways to serve and honor life.
Involvement in abortion--whether you had one, encouraged one or performed them, and whether or not you knew it was a sin at the time--will not prevent your returning to the heart of God in the ritual of the ascension in this lifetime if you give yourself to God in a service that can balance that karma.
Depending on your circumstances, you may have the opportunity to give birth to that soul (or to another soul if this option is not available). Adoption of a child may also be an alternative for you.
You may also be able to balance the karma through service to life, through sponsoring children, working with children, praying for the youth and through educating others about the spiritual issues of abortion.

Use the Resurrection Flame to Overcome Fear and Doubt Every Day
"Out of sheer despair I at times in my past embodiments forged great sustaining links with the Brotherhood. And out of his merciful heart God endowed me with an everlasting strength and a hope for a brighter tomorrow."~ Saint Germain, Ashram Notes, page 149.
I know many people these days who are overwhelmed on a daily basis if not with their own lives, with the lives and situations of loved ones, their cities and towns and communities, their nation and the world. As one spiritually minded friend recently shared, "It is as if I wake up overwhelmed, go through the day in various degrees of overwhelm and go to bed overwhelmed, just to begin all over again the next day. And, it just keeps on piling up. It feels like I am treading water and barely keeping my head above it."
The Ascended Master Saint Germain shares some very real and practical advise for us when we find ourselves overwhelmed by life around us:
"You who tread the Path today, who are facing situations much like those I had to deal with, would do well to bear up under the pressures of your dire moods and determine not to give in to them, even when it seems you are unable to change them.
The key to remaining anchored in the Light through the thick and thin of the ups and downs of mood swings is to follow a regimen of ordered service to God and the heavenly hosts." (Ashram Notes, page 149.)
Setting up morning rituals in order to get control of your day and your thoughts and moods is an excellent suggestion and has served souls struggling with human conditions throughout the ages. But, what if, like my friend, you're so overwhelmed with fears and "dire moods" that you can't even figure out where to start? Consider adding a simple mantra to your spiritual toolkit, which, once memorized and repeated throughout the day, can pull you up out of those unwanted depths of despair--a mantra invoking the flame of resurrection.
According to the late Elizabeth Clare Prophet, Messenger of the Great White Brotherhood, the mantra on the resurrection is given to "remove the consciousness of death." The consciousness of death sneaks up on people, and, as Mrs. Prophet explained, "More than we realize, we are burdened by the energies of death on a day-to-day basis. Fear is the beginning of death. Doubt in oneself is the beginning of death. The condemnation or the belittlement of the self is the murdering of the self and its potential to be free. Freedom comes through this resurrection flame." (Inner Perspectives, page 69-70.)
You can say a mantra as simple as those recommended by Annice Booth in her book, The Path to Your Ascension, "I AM the resurrection and the Life!" as many times as you want throughout the day. She even recommends going creative, depending upon your personal needs of the hour: "I AM the resurrection and the life of my health, my finances, my business, my marriage, my family, my studies...." (Path to Your Ascension, page 204). Or consider the following mantra given to us by El Morya in his "Heart, Hand and Head Decrees," also found in Inner Perspectives, page 69:
I AM the flame of resurrection
Blazing God's pure light through me.
Now I AM raising every atom,
From every shadow I AM free.
I AM the light of God's full Presence,
I AM living ever free.
Now the flame of life eternal
Rises up to victory.
If you are interested in learning more from Mrs. Prophet about Jesus' resurrection and what it means for you consider listening to the Open Door Radio Show from December 26, 2017: Encore: A Gift from Jesus:
Jesus offers each of us a portion of his great attainment. In particular, he extends to us the gift of the resurrection flame. This is the gift that will revive our spirit, lift our consciousness and fill our souls and body temples with Light and Love. And because it is a gift, we are free to accept…or reject it.

Babaji, Unascended Master of the Himalayas
I recently came across an interesting passage on Babaji, the unascended master of the Himalayas in The Masters and Their Retreats, where he encourages his students to use the violet flame and to become more practical as they walk their spiritual path:
Babaji speaks on behalf of the Brotherhood of the Himalayas, urging his students to take up the path of the violet flame. He also asks us to find the students trapped in the false paths and false teachings of India. Babaji tells his students to not remove themselves into nirvana but to "get over the desire to be the removed one, set apart and in meditation and in unreality when there is a victory to be won and a battle to enter."

The Extinguished Soul vs The Undeveloped Soul, Part I
Have you ever encountered someone who appeared to be a grey shell of a person--who appeared hollow, soulless, without a spark or spirit? I have, and so have quite a few people I know.
I was talking with a friend a while ago about an encounter with such an individual, whom we both knew years ago. There wasn't much to say, since he chimed in to say that he, too, had had a similar encounter and was taken also taken aback at how "grey and hollow" the person appeared. Not ill--grey and hollowed out.
A little later, I remembered reading a teaching in New Era Community, written by Helena Roerich, amanuensis for the Ascended Master El Morya, published by the Agni Yoga Society, that addressed such encounters, and then remembered a teaching that Elizabeth Clare Prophet gave expounding upon it, in Community, a Journey to the Heart of Spiritual Community, published by The Summit Lighthouse Library. In her excerpt below, she discusses the difference between an undeveloped consciousness and an extinguished one--a very good thing to know these days.
Excerpt from New Era Community, 97.
On the path do not rest under a rotting tree. In life have no dealings with people with extinguished consciousness. An undeveloped consciousness is not as infectious as an extinguished one. The extinguished consciousness is an actual vampire. It is impossible to fill from without the abyss of the ignorant consciousness. Precisely these people absorb one's energy uselessly. As a result of being with them, enormous fatigue is felt . They must be avoided like a stench in order to bar the way to the fluids of decomposition. It is difficult to distinguish the boundary line between lack of development and extinction. But one quality will be unquestionably indicative Lack of development will or may be accompanied by the palpitation of devotion, but an extinct crater is full of cinders and brimstone. The Teaching does not ref use to expend energy on the undeveloped, but there is a degree of extinction at which the abyss is not to be flooded with a new substance. Only a cataclysm, with its terror of unexpectedness, can melt a congealed lava.
Remember the treasure of the consciousness. Tremor of the substance of the Cosmos manifests the pulsation of the awakened consciousness. Indeed , the rainbow of knowledge flows out of the tremor of the consciousness—a visible stream from an invisible source.
Through all experiences of the past and all attainments of the future, remember about the consciousness.
Mrs. Prophet explains what an "extinguished consciousness" is in Chapter 6: The Extinguished Consciousness and the Undeveloped Soul:
The extinguished consciousness is one that has gone through its contact with the light. It has gained developement by the light and has actually increased its awareness by the light. Then it has come to the point where it says, "I am the light, and therefore I need no longer bend the knee and bow before the light." That was the proclamation of Lucifer.
Then, by the very denial of the Source, the consciousness is extinguished. At this point, it is highly infectious, because it spreads its philosophy, its disease, to those who surround it....
People who have an extinguished consciousness are in a state of decomposition, which I call the degeneration spiral. When you interchange energy with them, you give them light and they give you their infection. They then become a vampire who lives off your light They cause you to feel fatigued, and you can never fill them with light from without because the only way they can truly get light is to go back to the point of their rebellion against the light and call upon the Lord for forgiveness and be filled with light to heal this disease.

Soul Mates, Twin Flames and Weddings....

I was looking for The Weather Channel the other night and, instead, landed on one of those shows about nasty brides, obnoxious bridesmaids and the grooms who leave them all standing at the altar. Wasn't a pleasant second in the 14 minutes I watched. Couldn't help but wonder, "What are those people thinking?!"
We've all been to weddings--and they're usually as unique as the people getting married--from the dresses and suits (or not) to the music for the ceremony and the wording of the vows to the food and location chosen for the whole event. I can't say that I've been to one yet that I haven't enjoyed!
There is, however, one that I remember more clearly than most, and that was the first "destination" wedding we attended. Everyone went south for the celebration and it was a lot of fun.
The ceremony was held in a beautiful church--I don't remember if it was an Eastern Orthodox rite or a Coptic Orthodox Church or what, but it was beautiful and so was the ceremony.
Yet, it wasn't the church that made the wedding so memorable. It was what happened inside. From the moment the processional music started, there was (for me and a few others, at least) an tangible change in the way the inside of the church felt. Initially, I just thought it was the happiness of the event and the anticipation of the bride walking down the aisle.
After following the route of the third bridesmaid (there were 7 or 8)up to the front of the church, I glanced up at the altar and saw what could only be described as a luminescent gathering of angels--wings and all--who were literally arriving from behind and to the side of the altar (from above) and forming what appeared to be one of the biggest "choirs of angels" imaginable. They appeared to be everywhere, from the floor to way up beyond the ceiling. It was incredible!
I was surprised and delighted and was going to say something about it to the person next to me, when I realized that it didn't seem like anyone else had noticed. I watched the rest of the bridesmaids walk up and kept an eye on the angels at the altar--they were still there.
Then, when the music changed and the bride entered and walked up the aisle, it seemed as if more angels came from all directions to take their places at the altar. It was something else. (For the record: I'm not one of those people who sees angels all the time and could probably count the times I have on one hand.)
The impression I got was that this wedding was a special event that was being celebrated in the heaven world--big time. The angels seemed to embody joy and solemnity at the same time--with an intense radiation of light, of gold and white and pink and other colors. They were there for the entire ceremony, until the bride and groom walked out. As soon as they exited, I looked back at the altar--and, they were gone.
Of course, I said NOTHING. About 45 minutes later, a young woman I was with said, "Did you notice all the light that came down around the altar when the music started?" I was relieved that someone else had seen it. Another young woman said, "Yes--did you see how intense it got when the bride came down the aisle and joined the groom?" Yep, we'd seen it and felt it. One of them said, "It felt like there were hundreds of angels up at the altar."
I did not go into great detail about what I had seen (at least not then), and decided against describing everything to the happy couple...lest they thought I had a couple glasses of punch before the reception!
So, what did I figure? I figured it was most likely that we had been invited to and witnessed a wedding of two people who were (are) twin flames, which is a spiritual bond that is deeper than that of soul mates. I read long ago that all of heaven rejoices when twin flames finally find each other (after many embodiments apart) and recognize each other and end up together fulfilling their divine plan.
Anyway--it is the memory of this particular wedding that often leaves me smiling.
For more information about twin flames and soul mates, I recommend reading Soul Mates and Twin Flames, by Elizabeth Clare Prophet--a best seller for decades.

Ascended Master Afra--Brother of Light
Mrs. Prophet, some of our black brothers and sisters are wondering where they fit in the Great White Brotherhood.
Interesting and timeless question, with an equally interesting and timeless answer!
And, what was Elizabeth Clare Prophet’s answer?
Our black brothers and sisters are very much a part of the Great White Brotherhood. The black race was originally part of what was known as the blue race and the violet race, a high civilization that existed on the continent of Africa at the time of Lemuria.
The first ascended master to rise from the black race was the Ascended Master Afra. Afra is a soul of great light who evolved on the continent of Africa….
…all of the races that we find on earth have come forth from the heart of God under the seven rays—and these seven rays, as we know, are paths of initiation.
…The members of what is called the black race have come forth on the blue ray and the violet ray. In the ancient civilization on the continent of Africa, their skin actually had a blue or a violet hue. These colors are related to Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending.
